Expired Protein Bars?

I just found a few boxes of protein bars that I bought about 4-5 years ago and I'd hate for them to go to waste. The boxes are still wrapped. What are the dangers of eating expired protein bars and would they still serve their purpose?

I think they would be fine. Just check the first few bars, and if they are fine, then you'll probably be OK.

Make some coffee. When you're on a strick diet of ramen some protein bars will be a good mix in. I used snickers for that, but hey, if you have 5 year old bars, just all the better!
