Expired Inspection Sticker

My girl got a ticket in Queens, NY where she works due to her expired sticker. Is there a way to avoid the fine by showing proof of Inspection?

She said she didn't even know it expired :rollseyes:

umm.. why even dispute it? She was at fault, didn't realize or even ignoring the inspection sticker is her own negligance. Pay the $45(now?) ticket and bring it to a state certified inspection station. There's plenty of them on Northen Blvd.

While that's being done check out the car dealerships.. (awsome deals on Lexus') and in Queens they had the only Peguet dealer I knew of in North America..

Yep, Queens has a boatload of car dealers. That's where I took my friend to look at several E39 5 Series, but couldn't find anything around $15k that was in decent shape. He ended up getting this great Audi A6 for around that price.

Oh, and I already scheduled an appointment w/ my tech for the inspection tommorow. I don't trust the "gas station" techs w/ that. They might want to fail her for her wipers or something and try to charge $25 for a new blade.
