Solved! Experiencing video stall on CBS when using Firefox on Debian.

There seems to be a lot of issues with CBS videos stalling at the end of the first ad and preventing the show to play.
Most of the proposed solutions are lame. My issues came up after an upgrade, (I'm assuming Firefox-ESR was one of the upgrades.) The only thing I noticed was that it asked me to enable DRM, which doesn't seem to make a difference.

Does anyone have any ideas? I'm jonesing for some NCIS reruns.

I've had to use their site a couple times when something would cause a shift in timing and my recording would have 10-15 minutes missing. What I remember occurring most is the video going blank in chrome and having to watch it in edge.

I built a second LINUX system---same problems with CBS. And the problem began with Netflix.
After a couple of days, every works again. It seems that Firefox now performs the updates when necessary.
