New Vista Hotfix 943899
Might help your transfer rate problems. Woke up this morning and found 6-7 updates ready to be installed. This was one of them and there was at least one more that was semi-interesting.
I did run a quick test myself and did notice a nice little boost with at least HDD to HDD transfer speeds. Haven't tested network transfer speeds yet. Copying 20GB of FRAPs videos from one Raptor to another, I got 61.9 MB/s transfer rate, which is very close to published report/synthetic speeds and faster than the 45-50 MB/s I got last week when I moved them to clear room on my game drive. Worth a shot, let us know if it helps at all.
