Experiencing Noisy Plextor CD-R 8/4/32

Anybody else experiencing weird noises coming form Plextor CDRs? I have the 8/4/32 and am currently building a new system. I wanted something quiet and not as noisy as the Plextor that currently have. Seems like everytime (depending on the CD) a different kind of noise is made. I was looking at the LiteOn 32x12x40 or Sony 24x10x40 (CRX175A-A1) as my choices. Anybody have these? Would like some feedback to know if they are quiet or noisy. Thanks.
