Experience with Pre-owned console games

just got myself a gamecube and have an eye on a few games that i cant find new. i was wondering for those that have purchased pre-owned games from funcoland, electronic boutique, gamestop, etc.. have faired. anything i need to worry about?

Those places are usually pretty good about used games, I haven't had any HORROR STORIEZ!! and the couple of times something was fux0red, I got a replacement right away

I haven't had any problems either. Just ask the store clerk to see the condition of the game cd before buying it. Plus, they usually have a good return policy with used games so you're covered if anything goes wrong.

No problems here either. Just take a look at the game before you leave the store. If it looks bad enough, then just ask them if you can swap it.....thats what I do.

I've bought probably 10 or 15 pre-owned games from EB. I swear all of them seem BRAND NEW! No scratches or marks whatsoever on ANY of the discs and they have always come with the manual, and any extras such as stickers (GTAVC) and even a 2mo. Xbox live subscription unscratched (albeit, it was expired, but hey, it was there.)
