I am thinking about getting a 94-96ish mustang GT. I am wondering if anybody here has had much experience with these cars. Good bad whatever. Gas millage, common repairs, MAJOR problems, etc...

The heads suck on that gen. I'd get a 99 or later. They look better, and there's a TON of them on the used market with the 05's replacing them.

www.fueleconomy.gov <--great site

It's a Mustang, so don't expect it to be perfectly reliable, and CERTAINLY don't expect it to be unique. That said, parts should be cheap.

I am not a big Ford fan,
but the Mustang is still being made,as a rear wheel drive car.

Not the Camaro,the Barracuda,{which was introduced Before the Mustang 😉}
not any of the other "pony cars".

I like the Crown Vic too,nice ride,decent on the road fuel mileage,
and a Huge back seat. 🙂😀

If you get that Mustang there will be consequences. The most important one being the 4th gen V8 FBody owners pointing and laughing at you.

On of my good buddies has a '96 GT that he bought used and modded the heck out of it - it does high 12's in the quarter mile and it's an automatic....all N/A...he doesn't believe in forced induction. When he still had it in stock form, it was very reliable and solid. He's had 5.0's before that, and now an '04 Mach 1. From what he tells me, the 'stang GT is one of Fords better products. I sure hope so, I passed on the 350Z , RX8, WRX, and GTO for my '05 :thumbsup:
