Has anyone had experience with either the epox or abit support? How are they? How are they at handling things like rma's and replacements (during and after warranty period). Thanks a lot
I e-mailed epox once to get the cfm and dba specs of their chipset fan. Told him mine was dying and wanted a comperable replacement. They sent me out a new fan and hs for the chip set. I felt that was really cool . Although I never got the rating. 😉
Abit will accept an rma board sometimes even when it is out of warranty. It took me 4 weeks to get a new one. They will also send you a new bios chip for $12, including shipping.
Epox replies. Abit doesn't. That's been my experience so far.
Abit did open up a forum awhile back to get answers, however, it's been "under construction" for a few weeks now.
epox is incredible, they reply all the time. I've had 9 or 10 emails sent there, all replied within the hour. They are not generic garbage most support places send out either.
