expensive to fix 18" LCD monitor?

hi i have a dell 1800fp ultrasharp monitor, when i hit power all i get on the screen are bucha scattered lines, no readable setup screen or anything...

how much would it cause to get it fix? and any1 happen to know what might caused this?

Like JimmyJam said, try to get a RMA from Dell since it does have a factory 3 year warranty. Unless you happened to drop the LCD, or cause your own damage in some major way, Dell will probably replace it for you with a functioning refurb.
