Expensive drinks?

Do bartenders at clubs charge different prices for drinks depending on how drunk they think you are? I mean, half way through the night, some drunks can go up to the bar, ask for a couple mixed drinks, and the bartender can say $30. What are the people gonna say? No? I have a feeling they do this often. Last night, towards the end of the night, I ordered 4 incredible hulks and it came to $60. :Q

I know some shady bartenders that always charge top shelf then serve well and pocket the difference. I think this is rare though. I hate the bars that have those shot regulators on them. It just give you weak drinks.

If you keep a tab, you can get an itemized receipt at the end of the night and find out...

I noticed this on new years in Vancouver, the cover charges were worse. I was hearing $40-$50 by the end of the night
