Expected sounds from a hard drive?

I was wondering what I should expect to hear from my hard drive. I have a Maxtor 80gb 7200rpm 8mb cache drive and when I click on files, I'll hear a faint, dull "click" sound. Is this normal?

Yep, normal. That's the head repositioning itself along the surface of the drive.
