Expanding on a Specialized Networked HD setup

Hi all,

We have a broadcast server from a company called Synergy. We are getting close to running out of HD space and I've been tasked with trying to expand our current HD setup without messing anything up 😉

What I'm curious about is what the best way would be to move forward this. Allow me to explain the situation:

The system is four Win2K servers each running specialized apps and hardware, all networked via a high-end gigabit switch. The main storage area is an interesting box, external to the four servers - no brand name on it. From what I understand, its actually 10 SATA drives, outputting via a SCSI connector to one of the servers. In Win2K, it shows up as a standalone drive. There is no RAID software in Win2K, so I'm assuming the RAID hardware is built-in to the box.

1) Could someone lead me to a similar device, that I could easily setup and simply daisy-chain off of the current SCSI connector? I would also prefer to simply expand what is already the D-Drive, rather than create a new designation.

2) Are there external NAT boxes that I could retrofit with SATA drives AND that are gigabit compatible?
