Hi all,
I have a server that need to be online 24/7. The conditions are as follow:
2 identical disk (20Gb each)
partitioned into 2, 10 GB each , ended with 4 times 10GB partition (2 on each disk)
Mirrored (first 10 GB disk 1 mirrored to first 10GB disk 2. the same with second 10GB disk mirrored)
first mirror is C drive, second mirror is D drive
C drive is (as usual) OS, D is data
Is there anyway to expand C drive (which is dynamic) to be 20GB (mirrored to 2 disk) without offline (minimum downtime)? I tried Partition Magic 8 (from power quest), but it does not support Dynamic disk. Any suggestion?
Note :
I will transfer all the data in D drive to a new disk.
Expanding is critical since C drive is keep expanding (SQL database is expanding)
Operating System on this is Windows 2000 Server SP4
Thanks for the help.
