Exhaust clamp came off

I live in the minneapolis area and we got hit by a big snow storm on saturday. I had to drive in the morning to work before the roads were plowed very well so I think when i had to drive through the harder, untrodden snow my (already weak) exhaust got scraped hard and popped off the exhaust clamp because my car sounds more like a helicopter than a car and it vibrates profusely.
my question is what should i do? i plan on going in to NAPA tomorrow to get some advice/suggestions about clamps and sticking it back together but if there's anything i could do now or something i could do to save money i'd appreciate the help.

A standard exhaust clamp will only set you back a couple bucks, $5.00 at the very most. However, I think something else may be damaged from the impact as clamps, in my experience, don't really break all that often. Have you looked underneath the car at all?

I did,it all seems to be connected other than this 1.5-2ft long pipe (i assume is the centre section) that isn't connected or being held onto the rest of the exhaust. the middle silencer is disconnected and as far as my little to no knowledge about cars goes, everything looks undamaged. So i'm hoping it just requires a clamp to hold it together with the tailpipe.

You should be able to look at it and tell if it's a slip/pressure fit, welded, or clamped.

If you can't figure it out by looking at it then you should be able to find a muffler shop in your area... Places with snow and plows generally have tons of little muffler shops looking to make $20 or so to throw a clamp on there or weld it back.
