I have the balance of a 2, maybe 3 year old. How can I improve my balance? Seriously I'm embarrassed about how crappy my balance is lol.

Practice standing on one leg, one legged hops. my 3 year old can give you more ideas if you can't figure it out on your own.

^What a douche.

kazaam, look into yoga, there's plenty of yoga poses that have you balance on one leg. Improving your balance is no joke, one day all us will be senior citizens where loss of balance and falling will be one of the main dangers we face.

There are a ton of different ways to practice balance because it relies on three main senses: vision, proprioception (sensing your body in space), and vestibular (your inner ear that causes you to get dizzy and such). Considering most people use vision too much, it's better to focus on the other senses.

What kind of things do you find yourself having difficulty with? Just balance in general? Stepping around corners? Playing basketball?

I did squats for a while, then moved on to pistols (one legged squats), and I used to have terrible balance. It took a while but the increased leg strength worked wonders for balance.
