Exercise bike?

I picked up an elliptical machine last year and would like to supplement it with an exercise bike. I used to have an old fan-driven bike that moved your legs AND arms; now it seems there are only stationary bikes for your legs. Should I shop around and get a bike that moves your arms, or is that not much of a big deal as far as the workout goes? btw I don't exercise to get buff, just to stay in shape and be healthy. I guess the advantage to one that doesn't move your arms is that you can read a book or magazine while you pedal. ProForm has a nice little bike on sale for $149 here:

I'm also looking to add a treadmill down the road (too cold to go jogging outside!), any recommendations on either of these machines would be appreciated 🙂

Great for the knees. I like our recumbant bike as I can read a book or work on a laptop while I exercise.

Big fan of the elliptical eh? I thought about getting one, but instead of a treadmill, bike, and small gym.
Edit for spelling!

..I picked up a Schwinn recumbent stationary bike at costco a few years ago. It's quiet and uses magnetic/dynamic resistance. So far it's the best stationary I've owned.

What does "recumbent" mean? Also yeah, I really like the elliptical, gets your whole body moving. It wasn't cheap, but if I only had one machine (which I do), the elliptical would be it. Has that magnetic junk in it too, very quiet machine.

Also do you any of you have a yoga mat? I want something soft to do pushups and crunches and stuff on, the basement just has a tile floor.

Recumbent means you're sitting down, legs pretty much parallel to the floor.

Yoga mat wise, I'd say craigslist for a thick scrap of carpet padding then get a mat to put on top of that. That is, unless a thin yoga mat over tile is ok for you.

Just saw that Amazon has a "Valeo Foam Exercise" Mat for $10 on clearance. 2 feet x 6 feet. Free shipping if you get over $25. Maybe a couple of the mats and something else.

They have a recumbant LifeGear bike for $170 free shipping. I had a lifegear bike once and, while it wasn't the best build quality, it was cheap and was easy to move and didn't take a ton of space.
