i'm gonna have to say the one time for 60 minutes is better...unless it's going to be 60 minutes, then on the couch rest of the day.

Good info here.

Talks about the advantages of three different time lengths of a cardio workout:

Last but not least Level 3.(i.e., running 20 minutes) At this level you burn the most calories per unit of time. You also burn less fat during the workout, but the plus side is you deplete muscle glycogen which means you'll be les likely to store "new" fat because any excess calories will be stored in the muscles instead. This typed of workout also results in the largest increase in metabolism, which will generally last 4-24 hours or more. The Level 3 workout is by far the most effective when it comes to fat loss for four reasons.

option 1 is better for a weight loss regimen, but option 2 is going to build your endurance more.

Keep in mind you probably aren't going to want to get changed, showered, changed, showered, repeat multiple times a day. Well, you may, I dunno. But I think 1x / day is more realistic.

IMO, Every day is too much for biking you need some alternative forms of excercise as well. Maybe walk every other day.

You reach peak benefit from cardio exercise at 20-30 minutes after getting your heart rate into the "cardio" zone. Anything after that had diminished results. Unless you're trying to build endurance, 30 minutes twice a day (or even once every day) would have nearly the same benefit as 60 minutes.
