I do too, but I do not want to be in the same category as drumpf supporters who loved the liberal tears.

I take no joy from the angst of Trump supporters. They've been ruthlessly deceived & exploited for decades by their utterly insincere leadership in the Repub party. They honestly believe that he's somehow different, that he's somehow on the side of rank & file citizens. They're now learning the hard way & that's rarely pleasant. Some will never learn, of course, because they lack the intellectual courage to reconsider what they've been taught to believe. More's the pity.

Those who've exploited them will receive no such consideration from me.

I want to be very clear about this. I firmly believe when something happens once in Politics it will happen again and again.
I feel we are potentially in a very dangerous situation. What Trump does, Mueller does and Congress does is very important.
I don't want to see no challenge pardons or Whitewater style investigation scope creep, I want to see Congress act appropriately.
I do not want this to become the new normal for every 1st term President
I do not want to see foreign pressure in our elections

So I'm watching this Trump Train wreck in progress and what's really amazing is how Trump and his horde are trying to slap pieces of the train back on it even as it's in the process of disintegrating itself. And then there's these other Trumpsters, most notably Huckleberry Sanders, constructing a really big billboard in front of the carnage in progress and painting images on it of Evil Hillary selling uranium to Putin in some dark alley somewhere.

All the while nearly all of the Repubs in Congress are hiding in their closets waiting to see whose side they should be on (the classic ass saving ass covering chess move) after the Trump Train finishes itself off and the smoke from the wreckage clears out.

This while Pence is going crazy chomping at the bit and pulling his eyebrows out frustrated and very impatient that Trump isn't already getting his ass tarred, feathered and set on fire.

And what of Trump's base you ask? They're in the train's caboose whooping it up like MAGA is right past that unfolding train wreck up ahead of them.

Absolutely macabre. Frick'in bizzaro. The Trump Three Ring Circus (Executive-House-Senate) in all of it's surreal splendor.

But sure as shit it's all happening right at this very moment.

BTW People are saying the White House does schedule aids to watch for rage tweets. Apperently the earlier tweets caused a WH aide scramble to get to the President because they could potentially be used in an obstruction case.
People have said it was a mad dash to the President

People are saying this stuff not me. I'm just saying I've heard really, really smart people say those things. Successful smart people have said it but they're probably wrong.

Pretty sure it’s too late for any of those things.

I understand, however, drumpf and his lackeys are ridiculed and derided for throwing out these unsubstantiated rumours, hoping they will gain traction, and fuck facts and reality. I want the people opposing him to be better than him, and that's a really fucking low bar, so I think we can do it, with negligible effort.

So it looks like Boente resigned because he was asked to by Sessions. More obstruction! The position he holds is important because of the DOJ line of succession. It's a trial for firing Mueller.

https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/ju...or-obama-holdover-submits-resignation-n815331

I'm hoping it's Jared Kushner or he is one of the people in the first wave.

As US Attorney, Boente serves at the pleasure of the President. His days were obviously numbered, just like all of them.

Mueller's position is rather different. Trump can fire him, of course, but it would set off a firestorm in Congress like Nixon's Saturday night massacre. It looks like suicide from here because doing so would be a tacit admission of guilt.

There is hope Congress & Mueller will act appropriately
There is hope the President reflects on past decisions and decides to get tougher on Russia.
Is that hope somewhere there is no global warming because everyone travels by unicorn? ;D

Watching Faux now, they’re fluffing up Pence and saying they’re concerned where the leaks came from if it turns out to be true about the indictments and saying it’s not right to be spreading this leak, like they wouldn’t be running with it constantly if it was the other way around.

Some smaller name and that will be the end of that.

I'm much less optimistic than you guys but if I do root for you to get justice.
