I've been waiting for the right phone for a long time and I think this is going to be it! I repair a lot of phones and such and people are always surprised to hear that my daily device since 2011 is still a Sony Xperia PLAY 4G. ;)

I want to see an "Active" model with the "unbreakable" screen the normal models were originally rumored to have (supposedly couldn't manufacture in high-enough volume). The water-proofing and ability to use with a gloved hand would be awesome on the motorcycle, especially handlebar mounted w/NFC-triggered driving moto-mode!

The rumors of a "cheap" and "premium" model are also interesting. I wonder if the "cheap" version might be one and the same as the "Active," considering the Galaxy S4 Active was lower-spec in some ways.

What gets me is just how many Galaxy Note II units I've seen with cracked screens, which aren't cheap to replace (my source of single bad pixels screens for $129 dried up). It's to the point that I think it's down-right wrong to release a new model without something to prevent this. Why do manufacturers insist on making the entire front panel right up to the corners out of glass when glass is only beneficial for the touch areas?!

I'm also curious about the "metal" housing and surprised that the full design still hasn't leaked (only the front glass). It'll be interesting to finally see a metal and glass phone that still has a replaceable battery. :) Edit: Seems it's just a metal look but the faux-leather back is nice.

I can't wait to see what's in store tomorrow!

Edit: Changed the title from "III" to "3" after seeing the announcement. ;)

Don't want a cracked screen...... get a good nice case? I have my note II in my pocket while I'm playing full court basketball all the time and I've yet to have any cracks *knocks on wood*

get a glass screen protector and a case to go w/ phone...

Only get a glass screen protector if you like the cracked screen look. I'm still kicking myself for wasting 30 bucks on that crap.

Did the glass underneath crack as well? If not, arguably it did its job

Yeah I've been looking forward to the release of the note 3 also. Now I just have to wait for Verizon to release it.

I am excited to see it. Don't know if I'll get it, probably between the Note 3, LG G2, and the Nexus 5.

Likewise. I'm going to see what they offer, but if it's just merely a new screen and the obvious OMG LOOK AT OUR SPECS upgrade, then it's not going to do it for me.

Also, I really hope Samsung doesn't put on the same type of show they did with the GS4 release... :p

I like the drag and drop.

Edit: And Pen Window. Awesome stuff, floating windows are quickly becoming one of my favorite features.

lol well I watch for the products so I never care about the actual show/presentation.

Hmm, interesting usage of the watch to make and receive calls.
