I am curious. I have Comcast@home cable service. I have great service (after a period of hell that was finally traced to a bad modem). My "member services" is handled through the an Excite webpage... What do I have?

Also rumors of Comcast@home taking over At&t Broadband... any truth to that?

AT&T isn't taking over @Home. They're simply purchasing some of their assets. @Home is going down, so it won't be AT&T@Home, Comcast@Home, Cox@Home anymore, it will simply be AT&T Broadband/Comcast/Cox.

This thing is really sad, @Home seemed one of the few profitables companies. I guess they shouldn't have gotten involved with Excite.

Yep, I agree with you. They poured big dollars into that goofy portal thing. I think I've seen it once since Comcast started using Excite, and clearly, I was not alone.

I guess you all Didnt get this letter, but here it is in full glory:::

the opportunity to restructure their financial situation with their creditors.

in our portfolio and we remain committed to this business and to our customers.
We thank you for choosing Comcast and look forward to continuing to provide
