exchange server web based interface

Does anyone here no how to set exchange server 2000 up witha web based interface.

I don't know about Exchange 2000, but the older Exchange 5.5 has the Outlook Web Access (OWA) as an optional install. You just need to install the support files to get it working. I believe OWA still comes with Exchange 2000.
