hey guys, im a little stuck with my Distribution list. im trying to get a new distribution list to send out External e-mails (@hotmail @btinternet).

I have added each address as a "Contact" but its driving me mad as it will not distribute the e-mail to anything external but only internal!

ideas guys plz 😀 😀

Thanks in advance

J

EDIT: - have setup a new organizational group "Public Groups" and under that Distribution and Contacts.

It will work with any SMTP Address e.g tomjones@virgin.com/btinernet.com or other OUTLOOK address's but not for HOTMAIL/YAHOO or anything like that.. how should the CONTACT e-mail address be setup?

first off, can you send to those outside email addresses?
secondly the server rules might be blocking you thinking your sending out spam.
third if call your exchange admin if number two is the issue.
fourth if your are the exchange admin, go to the tech site for microsoft.
