I remember a few years back I worked for a company that had a rather disgruntled employee send out one of those infamous "I quit and here is all that is wrong and corrupt with this company" e-mails. I was actually quite surprised at the speed in which the e-mail sysadmins were able to pull that e-mail out of everyone's boxes, even going so far as to permanently delete it on anyone who had not quickly stashed the e-mail into a local .pst.

I've now been put into a position where Exchange may very likely be a major part of my future job responsibility, and I'd like to know what my options are for third party management tools that would allow me to do the same if an identical event were to happen at my workplace.

I'm not interested in reading anyones e-mails or any of that admin-nazi behavior, I just want to understand what options are available for easily fixing those disaster situations caused by human nature.

Thanks.
