I have been using Mail2web.com for about 7 months and have been happy with their service. However, I have never used such a service before so I don't have much to compare it to. It has worked exactly like I had hoped. Easy syncing with my Windows Mobile phone, my XP box, and my PowerBook. The Outlook web interface works pretty well but it seems a little slow.

They even have a free Exchange email deal but I haven't used it and don't know what the limitations might be.

Well, Exchange is certainly the most feature-laden way to get mail. And it does allow automatic synchronization of most any device: Desktop, laptop, SmartPhone, PDA, etc. And it not only gives you email, but gives you contacts, tasks, and calendar, all fully synchronized.

If you want those features and are willing to pay for the Exchange account, then why not?

Two hosted Exchange providers that are trustworthy are Intermedia.net and OwnWebNow.com. But I think that Intermedia.net has a minimum of 3 mailboxes at $10 per mailbox per month. I don't know what OwnWebNow's minimum is.

1and1.com has hosted Exchange accounts for $7.00 per month. I don't know if they have a minimum, I doubt they support Mobile Phones, and I've never used them.
