Exchange External Address List?

Hey all,

I'm currently admin of an Exchange 2003 environment for a University. We're going to be moving all our students (Currently on a GroupWise system) to a 3rd party app. My question is this: Is there any way to get Exchange to populate an address list from a 3rd party LDAP server? I do not want to create contact objects for every student in the system (35k+). We have an instance of ADAM that is populated from our ERP system, which I'd like to pull from, but again, I do not want to create 35k contact objects.

Any help is appreciated!

The only problem is user accounts are created with this. I'd like to not have AD/contact objects in my AD but have an address book.
