Exchange 5.5 consolidation

Our exchange admin just left the company and I was just given the old, "You're in IT, figure it out" line. I need to consolidate 1 of my exchange 5.5 servers. I got all the mailboxes moved, but I'm a bit confused on how the public folders work. I can see that they're replicated on different exchange servers, but what I'm really looking for is a "how to" for this. I'd rather do it the right way, rather then to fumble f@#k my way through it. Microsoft's technet isn't much help, all the information on their site seems to point to exchange 2000. Does anyone know of another better resource?

Use the admin tool and re-home the public folders to the server of your choice. Watch your replication status though and make sure the re-homed folders aren't replicated to from a blank copy on another server. Otherwise you will lose them. Backup first.
