dont remember exacty but..
add "other ", enter external email for it. than use regular aacount with forward option.
Sorry if not exactly correct (used exchange 2 years ago) but give an idea.
Basically I just open up the AD properties for the user and then go into Exchange general tab. Click on delivery options and choose forward. The only choices I have to choose from are users already listed in the domain. If I just try to type in an email address, it errors and says that the user is not available.
Do I need to add another account for every external address that I'm going to forward too?
What you said vi_edit is exactly how you would do it. You create an external account like IgorIs said and then you select it from the forward option in the main account. Then best thing to do is hide the external account so people only see the main account.
