Exchange 2010 with Outlook 2003, Poor Stability.

Hoping this is a good place to start. Outlook 2007 & 2010 appear 100% perfect runnign off the exhcnage server.

Users with 2003 experiance lockups, problems opening attachments causing outlook to need to be forced closed. Also when multiple items are deleted or moved, it locks. Rumors have it the exchange 2010 & outlook xp/2003 do not play well together. Any ideas to resolve this?
 
Are you running in cached or online mode? Exchange 2010 does not send UDP notifications anymore which can be an issue with Outlook 2003.
 
Cached mode. What symptoms would no udp notifications cause? Is there a modification that can be made with 2003 to fix this?
