I got assigned this little project at 4pm friday with a deadline to have it working by end of business monday which is today :| i have done google and MS technet but nothing is helping in getting this stupid sh*t to work.

ok i dont know what i am doing wrong. I have mobile messageing turne on in exchange, users have active sync enabled in IIS. it should work right?? but here is what i cant do.

when i go to \\myexchangeserver\oma i do get a login box but when i enter my UN/PW the login window pops back up likei entered in the wrong info.

on the phone (verison XV6700) when i do active sync, i get the login and i put in my UN/PW and it starts its sync then the login page comes back then i get an error saying "device timed out waiting for you to supply credentials." WTF!!!

Not sure what Joe's PM says but some info for you:

It should be going over http; so it would look something like "http://exchangeserver.domain.com/" (exchangeserver.domain.com also works) no need for the "oma" and if your mobile device is getting it over the internet (which it probably is) you need to be using the public server address.

An easy test would be to try and bring up the OMA page like you did from a machine off the internet:
http://exchangeserver.domain.com/oma

hehehe because it got too off topic and my question for this new theread was a bit more specific. and i still cant get the OMA test to work but i can get the device to sync to my exchange server over wireless. which is way cool. too bad i have to give these phones to our sales people because i want one. the T-Mobile version is 100 bucks off right now, so im pestering my boss to buy a few for our IS dept.

I really really hate my skytel two way pager. i can never respond to a page it fails and slams it into basic service.

JoeMonkey worked with me in ironing a few things out and i really appreciate it.
