Exchange 2003 Problem

Hi All,

At the company I work for we have roughly 30 users. We use Server 2003 Small Business and Exchange 2003. I started in Sept, after the system was set up so I'm not totally sure of all the aspects of how it is set up.

My problem is that our HR director quit in October, so after I archived their mailbox I deleted their AD account. Problem now is that when certain people send calendar events, some sort of CC is sent on acceptance of these appointments to this user that no longer exists, and we get a bounce that reads "The e-mail account does not exist at the organization this message was sent to. Check the e-mail address, or contact the recipient directly to find out the correct address." The error is #5.1.1.

I can't find any reference of this user anywhere, but they still get bounces. I've searched through Exchange system manager and AD.

Anyone have any ideas or knows how to fix this problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Figure out which person it is, and remove the now gone AD account from their Delegates. Chances are it changed from their username to a SID and is still chillin' there.

I looked through the people that have been getting these bounces and the said person wasn't a delegate, any way to clean up permissions or delegates without me going to the properties of each mailbox?
