I have enabled the services and accounts for IMAP to function and forwarded the ports. As of right now, only the administrator can successfully connect to the Exchange server via IMAP account.

When I try to setup Outlook with a user account, it keeps telling me incorrect username or password. Why does Administrator work and not a user account?

thanks

Is this a new Exhange installation? Did it ever work? Does OWA work? Do you mean IMAP, or do you mean MAPI?

This is an old Exchange installation. OWA works fine and IMAP has never been setup before because users never wanted to access their email on their phone until now. :)

What kind of cell phones are we talking about? You mention "Outlook". What phones have "Outlook" but require IMAP?

I admit that the only cell phones I've hooked to Exchange Servers are WM5 and WM6, which don't use IMAP. When clients want to connect to Exchange, I recommend that they upgrade to Windows Mobile phones, which work wonderfully, and, of course, automatically sync contacts, tasks, and calendars, as well as mail.

I was just testing with Outlook to verify IMAP was functioning properly. I figured once Outlook was working with IMAP, then I would tackle the phone problem. One of the phones is a Treo and the other is an iPhone.

I don't really need IMAP but it is available on the iPhone.
