Exchange 2003 Guru needed. *solved*

I am at a loss, and searching with google and yahoo I have not been able to figure it out yet. Please pm me if you think you can help.

Basically...
Using active directory we have a distribution list with several people on it, they want us to add two external emails to the distribution list.

I'm not an Exchange guru, but I believe you have to create contacts in AD for the external users, then add them to the DL.

Thanks Stash, I actually figured it out like 5 minutes after posting the question. It just came to me. Time to edit...

Yes, I kept initially trying to add a user from within the distribution list.

But basically you create new contact, and then when you create an email address for them, you add in their custom email address, then you add them to the group from the contact properties as opposed to adding them from the distribution's member list.
