Exchange 2000 server

I'm running exchange 2000 server and it works great, except when any users send a message to an AOL receipent. When this occurs I get a delay message and then the following day I get an undeliverable message. When I send the same message to the same user on a different accoutn it works. Any ideas?? Thanks!~

Who hosts the Internet Connection which this server is located on? I had a similar problem (also to AOL users) when I had ATTBI Cable. Fortunetly I've been able to switch to a DSL line and use a "real" ISP, I havent had any problems since.

It's my hunch that AOL attempts to stop inbound e-mail from what they know to be "just an internet client", likely in some attempt to curb SPAM or something.

The connection is hosted by Road Runner/Time Warner which is an AOL company, so it's kind of mind boggling. I hope that they would trust there own company, possibly not. I had another exchange server running on grande communacations in austin and it had no problem, so thats why I was thinking it was something with exchnage itself. Thanks
