Exchange 2000 redirect email

I'm trying to redirected an internal company email address to send all mail it recieves to an external address outside the company.

I've set up the Exchange mailbox and user account for the company address, and used Outlook to set up a rule to redirect all mail to the external address. Mail sent to the company address does not arrive at the external address though.

When checking the message tracker in Systerm Manager, the last entry for the redirected message is "SMTP: Message Submitted to Categorizer" and then nothing after that. Does anybody know why it is getting hung up at the categorizer? Or how can I fix this?
