this is like the 3rd excel question in less than a month that i can't figure out.

one of our users here is trying to run macros in a spreadsheet. the macros are already set up and work fine on several other pcs. the spreadsheet is on a network drive and the users have shortcuts to it.

anyway, everything looks fine as you open the file, but try to run the macros and it says they can't be found.

i copied the file directly to his desktop and it still gives the error. works fine on other computers though. whats wrong?

i'm going to reinstall officeon his pc soon if no one has any other ideas. i just hope reinstalling it fixes it.

it's likely a security setting

change the security settings in Excel before you open a file, then try opening the file
