That's actually a pretty good deal.
If someone was willing to teach me something I wanted to know and was willing to swap equal time, I'd jump on it in a heartbeat.
I hired a guy to be my assistant once solely based on the fact that he knew Excel (and a lot more about computers than I did at the time) and he was willing to teach me.
He was a damn good teacher at that. He made good coffee and did all my paperwork, too. I miss that big ugly bastard.
