how do i make a row of data on the first page repeat on every page. like the heading for a column or something. I know how to use headers and footers, but thats not what i am looking for... i just want to repeat some rows on everypage. how do i do this?

depends wat u mean by "repeat"...
do u mean u want to type or change something on the first page and have it automatically get updated on the other pages?
if so, then all you hafta do is reference the other pages back to the first page for those particular rows or columns.

what i mean to say is... your first row of data is for example "date, name, place, amount", following that rows will all be data. then you want to print out this spreadsheet, now since the data is going to run for a couple of pages, i want the "data, name, place, amount" field to be displayed on everypage for neatness and also the person who is viewing the spreadsheet don't have to always go back to the first page to see what each column is for.

i hope this kinda clearify things.

Just wondering if a simple copy and paste row would work for you? Or no?
Tas.

no... not very efficient because if i add more data the the c&p rows will be shifted.

Click "File", "Page Setup", Go to the "Sheet" Tab.

Under Rows to Repeat at top, enter your range (or just click the box on the right of the form field and highlight it).
