Excel Graphs for Black and White Printing

I am using excel right now to generate a few simple bar graphs and pie charts. The document is going to be printed on a black and white printer but excel usually defaults to using cutesy colors like magenta and a light shade of blue and yellow.... This is quite annoying because a lot of these colors usually show up the same on a B&W (grayscale) printer. Is there an easy way to get excel to use patterns or change the default colors it uses?

Thanks!

(1) In either chart type, select either the bars or pie slices. You should see the selection blocks appear.

(2) Right click on the selected bar graphs or pie slices and you should see either "Format Data Series..." (for the entire graph) or "Format Data Point" (for individual data).

(3) You can now select the desired color, pattern, or texture as needed.

Hope this helps....
