I just dumped customer sales info. from my Unix server into Excel.
What I currently have are 3 columns. One with a customer number, one withe a month end sales date and the last one with the sales amount. Each customer occupies one row per month id:

Customer Date Sales
1093 1/31/06 8210.00
1093 2/28/06 7600.00
1093 3/31/06 8833.00
2334 1/31/06 876.00
2334 2/28/06 676.00

What I would like to do, is create two rows per customer. One with the customer number and month end date, and the other row with the sales amount under it's corresponding date. id:

1093 1/31/06 2/28/06 3/31/06
8210.00 7600.00 8833.00
2334 1/31/06 2/28/06 3/31/06
876.00 676.00

Can anyone help me with this. I'm pretty familiar with Excel & formulas, but this is beyond me. I'm not eve sure if it's possible.

Thanks,

Ed

Well, I'm thinking Pivot Tables might be what you need, although I'm really not very familiar with Pivot Tables, so I could be wrong. Do you know anything about Pivot Tables?
