Excel Charting Question

I've got a set of data I am trying to lay out that is semi complex but I'll lay out a simpler example...

(Date) / (Qty) where / represents a new column

4/5/2009 / 10
4/6/2009 / 20
4/10/2009 / 15
4/12/2009 / 20

For some reason when I go to chart this dang thing is including the dates I didn't have in my data set (4/7, 4/8, 4/9, and 4/11). How do I get rid of the dates from the chart that I never reference in the dataset?

I had this problem once with weekends. You need to change the axis from automatic to category. Should be under chart options --> axis.
