Excel 2007 Printing Woes

Having come from Excel 2003, Excel 2007 is a serious down grade. My latest issue is printing. Printing and formatting large spreadsheets is always a challenge to get everything to fit on one page. The 2003 print preview would allow you to change margins and scale until your document would fit the page. It was interactive and it worked. Now it is a trial and error process because you have to go back and forth between print preview and layout and the layout tool bar is always hiding. The drag and drop margins are not there at all. The visual interactive print preview worked much better. If I am missing something please let me know.

You're missing something. I have drag and drop margins in my excel 2007 print preview. You just click "show margins" in the preview section of the toolbar and then you can drag and drop them as you need to.

If you select the Show Margins check box on the Print Preview tab in the Print Preview window, you can modify the margins. To change one of the margins, position the mouse pointer on the desired margin marker (the pointer shape changes to a double-headed arrow) and drag the marker in the appropriate direction. When you release the mouse button, Excel redraws the page, using the new margin setting.

Yeah I am seeing that now but for some reason the first time I used it nothing happened. The first time I did print preview that tool bar with all the print preview stuff on it was no there.
