Excel 2003 does not remember undo info after a few minutes?

I got 2003 on a system at work when I work with a spread sheet I do something, undo redo as much as I can.
I go elsewhere and a few minutes later I cannot undo or redo anymore.

This never happened to me with 2000 or excel XP where I can undo and redo for the life of my session, hours, days.

I did not do anything after my last change, no saves or anything. The auto save is on but it never effected me in previous versions.

Thanks

Excel is pretty pathetic and doesn't seem to let you undo after saving. Is it autosaving?

Yes it is saving, but I think it was fine with office 2000 or does 2000 not save automatically?

Thanks again.

In excel if you do anything such as a copy, then type in a cell, you cant paste. You have to go back and copy and directly paste immediately after that.

It just sucks in this manner.
