I'm not exactly well versed in Excel beyond the basics, so you'll have to excuse me if I'm off with the terminology or my description is vague. Basically, I've made a scatter chart for some data, let's call them x1 and y1. I've included a trend line. What I would like to do is to include a set of values, x2, so that they are plotted on the graph already made before on the trend line. Possible?

To add another series to the chart, right click in the chart and then choose Select Data. In the Select Data Source dialog box click the Add button. Select your series name and the X and Y ranges. The trendline from the previous series should affect this at all.

Yeah, that's the thing. I don't want to input another set of y-values. I just want the second set of x-values to have a point on the trend line. It doesn't seem like it's possible to do it in the way I imagine it though.
