Checked resellerratings.com, and they have a good score, but thats only from 27 reviews. Anybody have any good/bad experiences with them? Do you recommend I buy from them?

27 people is quite a few. Usually what i do is buy something small from the company to see if all goes well. Then i order the rest. I think it varies from person to person. People said stay away from Tiger Direct, but when i ordered from them a couple years ago my order arrived on time with no problems.

They have the Kingston HyperX pc2700 512mb sticks in stock and at a good price too. Newegg is currently out of stock, and I need the ram quickly. I have no idea when newegg will be back in stock, so I really have no alternative. If excaliberpc is not too reputable, then I will have to wait, but otherwise, I'd like to order from them.

I have had unparalled customer service from them.
I placed an order on Sunday. On Monday I placed another order and in the comments box I asked for the two orders to be shipped together, if possible, to save on shipping costs. But the order from Sunday had already been shipped, so they couldn't ship them together. Instead they just shipped my new order for free!
Everything I have ever ordered from them has arrived the next day via their cheapest shipping. I live relatively near them in CA.

I've seem a lot of people who say their people are very good and offer a lot of attention to each customer if he/she requires it. I'm seriously considering buying a new P4 2.4b from them sometime in the next couple of weeks so I've been paying attention to other people's comments about this place as well. Good luck, let us know how it goes if you do end up ordering from them.

I bought my NF7-S ver 1.2 from them a week ago and it arrived in fine fashion, and they gave me a free abit visor. I sent them a few emails and they replied swiftly, and accurately.

Overall they are catering to enthusiasists like us, and so far they are succeeding.

i've ordered from excaliberpc, tcwo, newegg, googlegear, and svc in the past two weeks, and they were all excellent. all orders got processed within 1-2 days (sometimes within hours, depends on when you order).

my only gripe with excaliberpc is that their packaging of OEM processors isn't as nice as Newegg's. It came intact and undamaged, but it was nice to have it come in a resealable plastic case as opposed to bound in foam with rubber bands. it's pretty safe to order from any of the above merchants IMO. if you're on the east coast, TCWO is nice because your order would arrive quickest (they are based in FL, I think). everyoen else is CA-based so if you need things urgently, you might wanna factor that in.

good luck

Use Them With Caution -- Here Are Some Guidelines

I made a larger purchase with ExcaliberPC earlier this year...the new MSI PE70 notebook with upgrades. My overall experience was not good since I ended up losing money in the transaction. My first instinct was to purchase from Newegg but I was swayed to go with Excaliber because they were offering a small rebate and free bag (so not worth it in hindsight). But...anyway...I'm not going to bash Excalibar...but rather I want to give guidelines on how to use them so you don't end up like me. Here are my guidelines....

How To Use ExcaliberPC If You Are Buying Something Over $100

1) Research all other online retailers for the product you want first. If you can find it elsewhere and at a price that’s meets your budget...you should probably get it.

2) After researching... if you find that the difference in Excaliber's price and their closest competitor is greater than 35%....it may be okay to make the purchase with Excaliber. Reason being...the 35% price difference will give you built-in "insurance" in case things go wrong with your order and you have to absorb a loss. Note: Excaliber will not take a loss on a transaction regardless of fault. In my experience...the customer will absorb all financial losses.

4)Before you order...please...please....be sure to read all of Excaliber’s terms and conditions as well as their return policy!!!!

3)Always....always call and place your order. Do not place your order online. When you place your order by phone...get the salesperson's name and ask them to send you a confirmation email regarding the order and any promises they have made.

4)Get all communication with Excaliber in email confirmation or summary format so that you have a paper trail.

5)If Excaliber's price difference is not greater than 35%....do not be swayed by any small rebates or gifts...it's just not worth it. Stick to the 35% price difference rule if you’re buying something over $100.

Shop safe and good luck!

It is indeed a necro thread, however, more current data suggests that this source may no longer be safe, and that might be of use to someone.

Added reviews in the above link suggest that ExcaliberPC may no longer be in business.
