But yes, to answer your question, it is not bigoted to say that German identity were at one point in history predicated on exploitation and genocide - that is historical fact.
It's not a fact per se, it's an interpretation of historical fact.

Hitler's best result in any election was ~32% of the popular vote from what I recall. That's roughly one in three Germans of voting age who took part in the elections. Not enough to establish that his way represented German IDENTITY.

He certainly represented German POLICY - seeing as he appointed himself dictator-for-life. But that's something different.
