I wanted to convert a file in cdda format to wav format and used EAC for it. During the configuration process I chose the option which said "only speed is important". I got the wav file in a jiffy using this process but when i played it , there was no sound. Just a blank file of the same length as the original and with a large file size. Please see if you can help me out with this one.

Open EAC, Drive options -> extraction method -> select Secure mode (not burst mode) or run the config wizard again
