LinkSo sad, he was a pretty decent receiver, drafted at #1 pick by the Pats then played (better) at Miami then played for the Redskins and Philly for a 17 year NFL career. He must have signed some decent contracts during that time, what kind of dumb doesn't save/invest some of that $$ for when your playing days are over.

I don't think so, Moss already has that spot reserved!.

I actually think Moss would never sign for the Cowboys. They really fucked him over in the draft. The Cowboys told Moss they were going to pick them, but then got cold feet due to not wanting to deal with another Irvin.

IMHO if he's kept himself in good shape I could see a team signing him late in the season. His rep's would be limited of course and his speed is nowhere what it was when he was a young'en..BUT RM always had the hands to go with the speed, he won't drop much that is catch-able.

I actually think Moss wouldn't be a terrible option for teams that need him. Even without his speed, he is 6'4 and probably closer to 230 now. He would still be a legitimate redzone threat to anyone except like Richard Sherman.

For sure, he knows how to get into position and with today's rules he will draw a lot of PI calls. Thing is a roster spot is a roster spot, once he there that takes away a possibility of having a player with more versatile skill set's playing.

Don't assume that Fryar didn't make any money in the NFL, just because he is a swindler. The Pats more recently signed a tight end and after great success, redid his contract in the moderate eight figures. Then the guy turns out to be a drugged out gangster, who gets arrested and convicted for murder. You can't always figure out human behavior.

Moss is done as a player. Has been for years. He has a nice gig with a network and doesn't have to work too hard. Because of his gregarious personality, Moss stands to move up to a better position soon. And Moss is a good dresser too. Better than Brady. He should come out with a line of clothing.
