Size don't matter when guy has no skill and out of shape. When i wrestled in HS we had this crazy hard assed hillbilly 168lbr who would go to bars with fake ID and beat on grown men for fun. I was 220 and wrestled and would not mess with him.😛

Making sure your downed opponent's really not reacting anymore is part of self-defense. You don't want a fallen foe to be faking it and he stabs/shoots you in the back as you walk away, which a woman-hitting scum just might do.

One good reason not to start a fight is that you rarely know the proficiency level of your opponent. You might end up against an ex SAS or pro boxer.

Yah thats the thing. When I was in my younger 20s and got into more trouble, you could size *most* people up pretty easily.

Now with all of the MMA shops (there are 500 in my area I swear), you never know who you are going to be fighting in a bar.

I can imagine some idiot meathead going up to Diego Sanchez thinking he was a little bitch. Ha.
