Back when I used heroin it was my choice, no drug dealers forced me to use. Can't blame drug dealers for people using drugs. Do you blame Anheuser Busch for drunks? I guess your right all the CEOs should go to prison for distributing all that death and despair too.

I can tell you did drugs by this post.

Illegal substance is not equivalent to legal substance.

Your analogy sucks.

Was it the first sentence where he said he used to do drugs that tipped you off?

So if you had a cousin that destroyed his own life through alcohol, you wouldn't blame alcohol dealers in the slightest, but if you had a cousin that destroyed his own life through heroin, you would blame heroin dealers? And only because the former is legal and the latter isn't? Because somehow, destroying another person's life (by your logic) is OK as long as it's done legally without repercussions? :confused_old:

People, the commutation wasn't going to take effect for a couple of months. I don't see how Obama etc. has anything to do with this (with the possible exception of calling into question his criteria for pardons/commutations).

So now we are going to compare drug dealers to CEO's.

Really? Did you do drugs too?

I'm not going to participate in this stupidity of comparing Company CEO's to Drug Dealers. If you cannot see a difference then you are stupid.

Not as stupid as someone happy to watch their family die of cirrhosis of the liver just because the ones causing the damage (according to your view on personal responsibility) hold a fancy title.

I don't give a damn about CEOs. It's a simple question. I'll ask it again: What is the difference other than the legality of the intoxicant of choice?

Since we are leaving the original comparison.
To answer your specific question, Nothing. But to expand on that line sure you can kill yourself with booze, cigarettes, drugs, food, water ... they are all the same, the list goes on and on.

When you compare drug pushers to company CEOs is way over the top. And stupid.

Good thing that nothing you're ever responsible for relies on grasping abstract ideas.

The point is the only thing different is it being illegal. Like alcohol in prohibition, the violence the bad batches of moonshine. Look up all the anti alcohol propaganda from the 20s bet it looks a lot like all the anti drug propaganda you seem to have fallen for.
