Trump lied and water is wet.

How do you know Trump is lying? His lips are moving or he is tweeting.

On the scale of things, I'm not sure this registers as anything anyone should give a damn about?

By it's self? No.
Piled on top of all the other items, it just is another underline to the fact that he lied in the past, lies in the present and will continue to lie n the future.

Like other posters already said, we all already knew this before he was even a candidate. We even already knew that he would call places and pretend to be someone else. What value does this particular instance provide?

This is really silly. This guy got duped lol

Compared to his other lies that have cost people their lives. This one is barely worth mentioning except to laugh at somebody admitting they were duped by him. But then again so were millions of voters.

Because he's done certain bad things in the past, when he does more of the same bad things, there is no point in paying any attention. "He already sexually assaulted 5 women. Who cares if he sexually assaulted a s 6th?" Is that your reasoning here?

No, that's a bit more consequential, given that it's an actual crime. Or is the subject of the OP an actual crime and I'm just not aware of it? You tell me what the consequence of this specific incident is. I'm not sure who it is that needs more convincing that he lies bigly.

Why is this being reported on again? This was already known and reported on, before he was even elected. He made up some fake name and had them call Turmp Tower and ask for that guy to pretend to be a PR guy and then just fluffed Turmp the whole call. IIRC the people (reporters, whomever) involved were just like, "is this supposed to be a joke?" but because Turmp did it multiple times and didn't he even hang up when they were just like "very funny, Donny, now can we speak to the guy?".

They even mention that in the article. Really don't know why they're dredging this up again, as it was known. I mean, maybe they're trying to make sure that if people suddenly start getting calls from "Barron" about Turmp's current legal shitshow that they should realize it is Turmp himself?

To this day my favorite part of this is that Trump appears to have named his youngest son after the imaginary friend he used to brag about all the strippers he was banging.

Just one more scoop tossed on the steaming pile of shit that is his credibility.

Here is the consequence.

The next time the President says something how can you believe it? If you are a foreign leader knowing Trump is a serial liar how do you trust anything he says?

Trump was just stating alternative facts.

lol

I think that ship already done sailed, hoss. If you're a foreign leader and you didn't already know that, somehow I don't think this one is going to tip you off any further.

Lying is the new truth

If it helps Team Trump score wins, then being pals with Putin, Arpaio, Libby and soon to be best buddy Kim Jong Un is A-OK!

Lying 'til it becomes the truth is just another day at the office for Trump and the GOP. For them, there's nothing wrong with lying if it keeps their campaign coffers stuffed with payoff cash. Seems it's perfectly fine with the folks who keep voting these whores into office.

Dunno. I think it's news because it's amusing. I find it more in line with his need to be seen as the richest, most loved (or unfairly persecuted), etc. He has shown that what he feels looks good or bad for him is the most important thing, trumping the interests of the American people.
